Hudson River was developed for the global cut flower trade and now available to home gardeners. This champion performer is the perfect combination of vining and non-vining Clematis. However, you’ll love its growth habit, perfect for filling a border or spilling over a rock wall or planter. Most non-vining Clematis flowers have a nodding, downward facing appearance, but these open fully outward.

Hudson River’s sepals feature a purple tone with an attractive matte texture, contrasting with beautiful gold centers. This easy-to-grow plant will produce copious flowers for your vases and mixed arrangements. Hudson River will come again and again with deadheading or mid-season pruning.
