While many Astilbe varieties are grown for their pretty little flowers, Color Flash is changing the game with spotlight-stealing foliage. In early spring, brilliant electric green leaves emerge, soon maturing to purple, burgundy, and dark green shades. In the fall, the foliage changes once again to a palette of bright orange, gold, and red¡ªtalk about a grand fina!

Although the brilliant leaves love to take center stage, Color Flash also produces lovely, soft pink flower plumes that rise up to 12 inches over the mounding foliage. Unlike many other Astilbes, this stunner tolerates more sun and slightly dry soil. Plant along perennial borders, in mixed containers, or grouped in flower beds for a sensational summer displ!
