Despite the clever name, these blooms aren’t playing any games when it comes to garden appeal. Our Checkmate Mix includes two types of Fritillaria Meleagris that perfectly complement each other. The nodding, bell-shaped flowers emerge in striking shades of plum purple and ivory, painted with a complex geometric pattern in deep rosy-purple and cream. Who knows, they just might entice woodland fairies to indulge in a rousing game of che! These dainty blooms are fantastic for cut arrangements and require very little space in gardens. Slender, silvery-green foliage provides a gorgeous backdrop for the flowers as they carefully weave between fuller spring perennials. Enj!
