This classic bomb-type peony explodes with 5-6″ double blooms atop sturdy, woody 4′ stems. The highly fragrant blossoms showcase striking deep fuchsia petals that flawlessly compliment other blue or pink flowers.

The towering flowers, reminiscent of the stature of London’s clock tower, bloom earlier than most other peony varieties, so it’s well suited for warmer zones. As with many other peonies, Big Ben is a low-maintenance garden addition with a rich reward. Given good light and adequate water, she’ll be a hardy grower and magnificent performer.
