Compact and neat, this clumping perennial is perfect for providing color and interest to the front of a seasonal border or mixed garden bed. Decorative containers, too, can be enhanced by the addition of scabiosa’s pincushion-shaped blooms. Very easy to grow and maintain, Butterfly Blue prefers a full sun spot in which to thrive. Showy 2½” flowers of soft lavender-blue appear all summer long above 12″ tall mounds of rosette-type foliage. They lure beneficial pollinators, such as butterflies, to the garden throughout the entire growing season. Very hardy and long lasting. Deer resistant and drought tolerant.
