This later-flowering, large-blooming Clematis is beloved by collectors for its coloring and performance, and, just like every other hybridization by grower Barry Fretwell, Rhapsody is a true winner in the garden. Flowers in the velvety purple of the early night sky are offset by a lighter midrib and cream-colored centers. You’ll adore this sapphire purple, which lightens a bit as the flowers mature.
