Plus, this charmer extends the use of exotic Nerine, making the group accessible to cold-climate gardeners who love potted beauties. Extremely rare and in very limited supply in the United States, Ella K produces clusters of spidery white blooms with fantastically wavy petals from late summer to fall. The unusual flowers measure 2 to 3″ across atop 18 to 20″ tall stems that last beautifully in arrangements. Native to South Africa, they’re tolerant of relatively low temperatures when not too wet and will be happiest in well-drained soil with plenty of sunlight. Enj!
