Named for the beloved wife of famed breeder Barry Fretwell, Clematis Patricia Ann Fretwell features unique, multi-tonal sepals in macaron pinks. Its early flowers often bloom in double, and are reminiscent of a French confection. These upward-facing blooms open wide, featuring concentric rings of sepals that look good enough to eat. Distinctive and collectable, this clematis is far from your ordinary pink flower. The pink-on-pink shading is sure to delight, and this clematis beautifully portends the coming summer season.
Patricia Ann grows best in full sun to part shade, and climbs well on a trellis. A mid-border favorite, too. You’ll love the medium-to-large flowers on this relatively compact plant, as well as its late-season rebloom of single flowers. Clematis Parfar
