There’s no place like home, and imagine being welcomed to yours by this beautiful shade plant. A newer variety of Solomon’s Seal, Ruby Slippers is ready to delight in the shade garden. Lightly arching stems are bright red from the base all the way to the tip, with attractive, pendulant flowers complementing the glossy green leaves. Ruby Slippers’ color isn’t only in the stems, however. Its leaves offer a lovely silver on the underside. At almost two feet tall, this is a larger Solomon’s Seal, with a nice width as well.

Tough and hardy, Solomon’s Seal is a clumping plant that multiplies easily. In cooler climates, this plant can tolerate more sun, but may “burn out” by the end of the summer. Polygonatum odoratum ‘Ruby Slippers’
