Maintenance is minimal, and deadheading is not needed to keep the plant blooming. You’ll be amazed by the hummingbirds attracted to your garden, as the tubular, red flowers are just the sort that will keep them coming for weeks. Best flowering occurs in full sun, but light shade won’t harm it, particularly in warmer climates.
